Identifying which product to trade

These are a huge range of products that you can trade through One Financial, each with different trading characteristics that will appeal to the traders’ various appetites.  One of the common features you will see in an inexperienced trader’s deal books is the number of products that they trade.  You will find that they stretch themselves over a number of products such that it is difficult for them to follow the performance of the individual positions let alone set aside time to research the product and produce an adequate trading strategy.  This is not to say that you should trade one and only one product in your trading career, you will find that many product performances are linked, but that you should not trade too many products at the same time.
